Budaun: A government school in Uttar Pradesh denied admission to a child as in place of her name, “Madhu ka Panchwa Baccha” and “Baby Five of Madhu” have been written on the Aadhaar card.

Official source said the card was also not carrying the Aadhaar number.

On Saturday when Dinesh, a resident of Raipur village in Bilsi tehsil in the State, reached the primary school in Budaun to get his daughter, Aarti admitted.

Teacher of the primary school, Ekta Varshney, denied admission to Aarti and asked Dinesh to get the Aadhaar card rectified.

A picture of the Aadhaar card went viral on social media.
